Looking Ahead In 2022

Another year behind us and it’s all thanks to you! Thank you for all the support we received during this past year; and boy was it a strange year. As the founders of HoneyCure, we wanted to take a moment and review 2021 and give some ideas of what we’re looking forward to in the year ahead. The last couple of years have been pretty unique for all of us, and it’s looking like 2022 is promising its own unique way too!

2021 had some pretty big ups and some pretty big… slowdowns? It’s really hard to put a finger on, but the pet industry has actually been doing great; especially with the pandemic! This is great our four-legged friends; the lockdowns allowed people start caring for more furry family members! Spending time at home lets us all bond with our pets more, and give them the attention they always want to have.

As a pet first-aid company, we’re always looking to reduce the number of injuries out there and limit the down-time for your pets to play and exercise. However, due to the notorious supply chain issues, overall staffing shortages, and the ominous shadow of COVID, things haven’t been all cat-nip and dog-chews (see what we did there?). 2021 had some crazy fast months for us, and some strange slow months where we wondering if things weren’t picking up as fast as we expected. We’ve done our best this last year by focusing on keeping our supplies in stock and our employees fairly paid to counter the ongoing inflation, along with providing flexibility around time-off.

That being said, 2021 also had some great new things for HoneyCure! You can now get HoneyCure at many new local stores, and we’ve been working with even more clinics and rescues than ever before. With communities opening up again, we’ve been able to refer our customers to their local pet store to buy product. And while we’ve seen a lot of local shopping, we’ve also seen an uptick in online shopping activity which us gives a good starting point for 2022.

On a side note, we’ve been working at expanding our business beyond HoneyCure as well, and EnBiologics (HoneyCure’s parent company) has been quite busy helping other small businesses solve issues with scaling their products for increased production. It’s been an absolutely great year and if you’re interested in learning more checkout EnBiologics.com

Plans for 2022

If 2021 was all about restarting and growing, then 2022 is definitely continuing that momentum. We were able to get out and about in 2021 to trade shows, and in 2022 it looks like we’ll be able to do a lot more of that. Look for us at Global Pet Expo in the Natural Care section!

We’re hard at work at being present in more local pet stores. We’ve made some design tweaks to our display boxes that appear in some of your local pet stores! Be sure to check them out; it’s easier than ever to add HoneyCure to your shopping cart!

And finally, we’re continuing looking at several new additions to HoneyCure product line and the related brand line-up. 2022 hopes to open up several new opportunities for HoneyCure!

Thanks,
Ramy and Sean
