The Team

EnBiologics is devoted to promoting natural veterinary care by introducing effective and safe wound care products.

In 2016, EnBiologics, Inc. was founded by Ramy Habib and Sean Carroll. They were students pursuing a Master’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering. In a clinical immersion class, they were placed in the Detroit Medical Center’s burn unit where the goal of the class was to create a better solution for care. Using their education and knowledge of honey, they came up with the idea that would develop into our natural veterinary wound care ointment, HoneyCure! As the company grew, Ramy and Sean pivoted to also helping other emerging brands grow by manufacturing, packaging, and formulating their products.

Ramy Habib
Co-Founder

From growing up in Egypt, Ramy is familiar with using honey to treat wounds. At 17 years old, he moved to Detroit and attended Wayne State University. He graduated with a Master’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering in 2016. The idea for HoneyCure came from his experiences in both natural healthcare and medical devices. Ramy works full-time at EnBiologics and is hands-on with helping formulate, manufacture, and package products for HoneyCure and other small businesses. His passion for helping other companies can be seen through his mentorship and coaching at Detroit Demo Day. In 2020, Ramy was nominated and awarded on Crain’s Detroit Business 20 in their Twenties list. During his free time, Ramy loves being with his friends and his black Tortoiseshell cat named Jynx!
